The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is ready with its first ‘major launch’ of the year 2017. The company launched Redmi Note 4 smartphone at an event in New Delhi today. The company has launched the smartphone in three variants — 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 4 launched in the country is making its global debut. However, features of the smartphone launched today are almost same as those of Redmi Note 4 launched in China, except for the processor.
The company also claims that Redmi Note 4 is the best smartphone available in its price segment.
Redmi Note 4 sports a metallic unibody with round edges. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD display, offering wide-viewing angles. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GH. The users can further expand the storage up to 128GB by installing a microSD card. The dual-sim smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Glonass and micro-USB options.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with the company’s native MI UI 8 skin. It is backed by a 4100mAh battery and also comes with an IR blaster and the Mi remote control app. On the camera front, the Note 4 has a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP front camera.
Talking about the price, the Chinese manufacturer has priced the 2GB RAM version at Rs 9,999, the 3GB RAM variant at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB RAM vartiant at Rs 12,999.
